Dave Fromer

Dave Fromer was a co-captain of a San Francisco U-19 boy’s team, Hakoah 1961, that was the first youth team from the Western United States, and only youth team ever from San Francisco, to win a national championship. Dave was also selected to the S.F. Prep Athletic Hall of Fame. As a collegiate All-American, Dave was a member of two State Cup Championship Teams and three National Championship Teams. He co-founded the Mill Valley Soccer Club and the Mill Valley Girls’ League, and helped start the Marin Women’s Soccer League.

Dave has been a central figure in the popularization of soccer among the youth of Marin over the past thirty-five years. He has coached over 80,000 youth at all age groups and levels. He has facilitated and mentored many thousands of young players through his Marin, SF and Tahoe Soccer Camps as well as his Winter Indoor Soccer League, Pee Wee & Little Kickers classes, and his Spring/Fall 5 v 5 program.

Lewis Usher

Lewis grew up playing and excelling in soccer and other sports in his native country of Belize. He has made a career out of teaching, training, and coaching sports – particularly soccer – for more than 25 years. Lewis has taught after school soccer classes, trained individuals and soccer teams, coached and directed Dave Fromer Soccer camps, and ran his own independent soccer camps as well.

Although his athletic skills and experience are extremely impressive, what makes Lewis stand out is his charisma and the way he engages with and inspires each and every player no matter their age or skill level. He is a passionate and well-loved sports instructor and coach who has inspired thousands of Marin children over the course of his career. He masterfully combines fun with excellent instruction. This will be his 26th year on staff with Dave Fromer Soccer.

Marco Campos

Marco is one of our camp directors, and is another long-term and well-loved coach with Dave Fromer Soccer, who has been very active in the Bay Area soccer scene over the course of his coaching career. This year marks his 15th season with Dave Fromer Soccer. He has his Coerver Youth Diploma certification, and is a speed and agility specialist. Marco founded and coached the Haskell University Men’s Soccer Program, and co-founded the Las Positas College Women’s Soccer Program.

He combines excellent skills training with empathy and enthusiasm to accomplish great results, and is dynamic and gifted at making each child feel special.

Hannah Radley

Hannah Radley grew up going to Dave Fromer Soccer Camps every summer at Memorial Park. She started playing soccer with the San Anselmo Recreational League, and eventually moved on to play Division I in college. It was these camp experiences and coaches that first taught her the basic skills and the kind of active fun that goes into playing a team sport like soccer.

She attended St. Anselm School and San Domenico high school where she earned Bay Area Conference BCL West First Team All-League (2005, 2006), selected as the Bay Area Conference BCL West MVP, and was two year San Domenico Athlete of the Year and MVP. She played goalkeeper her freshman season for American University; making 11 appearances, and 34 saves on the year in just over 765 minutes.

Radwan Hamwi

Radwan Hamwi (aka Rad), Dave Fromer Soccer’s General Manager, is a Bay Area native who has been playing soccer his entire life, including years training for the San Jose Earthquakes Academy. He has a passion for both the game of soccer and teaching children about the love and enjoyment of the sport.  Rad’s extensive soccer knowledge makes him an integral part of the Dave Fromer organization.
