SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – Dave Fromer Soccer, a top-notch organization that has served thousands of youth in Marin County, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe, California since 1974, announced its expansion to a new facility in northern Marin. The new location, called Sky Sports, includes one indoor soccer field made of Field Turf, a state-of-the-art playing surface. The multi-sport complex recently opened for business at 440 Smith Ranch Road, in San Rafael. Dave Fromer Soccer will operate a variety of programs at Sky Sports including pick up soccer games, camps, and clinics for youth and adults alike. Programs will be ongoing beginning in July.
“With this expansion, we are excitedly looking forward to building on our early success in collaboration with the Sky Sports facility. We are treating Marin’s kids to a joyful, fulfilling soccer experience at a tailor-made facility,” says Dave Fromer, the organization’s founder.
Prior to the opening of the new locale in San Rafael, soccer players in Marin County did not have a dedicated, all-weather, indoor soccer facility for all ages. The demand for access has continued to grow over time. Dave Fromer soccer stepped up to meet that need by partnering with the Sky Sports facility and beginning dedicated programming. In addition to the offerings of pickup adult soccer open for all ages and skill levels, Dave Fromer Soccer will soon operate leagues and clinics for youth on site.
